Resources to Help Craft Your Comments on the OMB Federal Grants Proposed Rule
On May 29, 2026, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) proposed new regulations that significantly alter the federal grantmaking process by inserting political control over the selection and management of federal grants, including the authority to terminate active awards when they no longer align with political priorities.
