Madhani Healthcare Consulting (MHC) collaborates exclusively with medical specialty societies and provider organizations on various regulatory and legislative issues, including coding, reimbursement, and payment innovation.

MHC was established in 2023 by Sheila Madhani. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with physician specialty societies and other healthcare provider organizations. These experiences have ingrained in her a deep respect and understanding of the role and contributions of the healthcare workforce. She is recognized for her deep expertise in Medicare physician reimbursement and payment innovation.

This practical experience is grounded in an academic background in health policy, public health, and social work; and a genuine passion and commitment to the field, healthcare providers and the patients they serve.

Coding, Reimbursement, and Payment Innovation

MHC has extensive experience navigating the complex process of establishing CPT codes, setting rates under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, and the evolving Medicare payment innovation process. Specific areas of proven expertise include the CPT Editorial Panel process, including code application development and submission; the RUC survey process; Medicare Physician Fee Schedule analysis; Medicare physician quality programs and Medicare innovation programs. We also work on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the practice of medicine and telehealth.
